Aurora Election Commission April 7 Consolidated Election Primer

Aurora Election Commission April 7 Consolidated Election Primer

The Aurora Election Commission has posted a list of candidates for the April 7 Consolidated Election as well as sample ballots for each ward and precinct in Aurora.

Two separate organizations host elections in Kane County: the Kane County Clerk’s Office and the Aurora Election Commission. For a look at the Kane County ballot primer, check out the Clerk’s Office website or this article on Kane County Connects.

The upcoming consolidated election is really the most hyper-local election in which we participate. It includes but is not limited to school boards, library boards, park boards, community college boards, city and village boards. In Aurora, voters also will have an opportunity to vote on a $84.2 million building bond referendum for West Aurora School District 129.

The Aurora Election Commission provides list of sample ballots on this page, listed by ward and precinct.

Polling hours are 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., and you can find a list of Aurora polling places here.

Below is a list of candidates copied from the Aurora Election Commission website. For complete information and updates, we recommend visiting the AEC website directly.
