Fifty percent of the proceeds will benefit the new SEBA All Inclusive Park, which had its grand opening on Aug. 8, 2015. The grand opening marked the completion of was Phase 1 of three phases, and funding is still needed for Phase 2 and Phase 3.  The other 50 percent will be split between the Lions Club and the Odd Fellows to use toward other charities.

“We are asking the media, residents and businesses to help and open your hearts to help make this a great event,” said Larry Sitkiewicz, who sent out the press release for the event. “We are calling it ODD-Toberfest just to be a little ODD.”

Windy City Carnival will be in attendance, along with many bands for the three-day event.

“We have lined up many local food vendors, so no one will go hungry,” Sitkiewicz said. “And of course an Oktoberfest isn’t complete with a great selection of beer — German and local brews.”
