We promised to provide photos of the demolition progress at the former Sixth Street School building in Geneva, but we thought we’d have more time to saunter by and snap a few pictures.

Turns out, work is progressing so well that much of the superstructure already is taken down. A northwest quadrant of the building remains standing, and there is much work left to do in the site restoration, but the above-ground part of the building is getting closer to going, going, gone.

The part of the building that’s still up includes the cornerstone, and we’ll let you know what happens with that as well as the time capsule that’s buried nearby according to local legend and personal testimony.
