‘Let’s Play Ball!’ — Mr. October Would Love Geneva Student’s Winning Week 6 Photo
To borrow from S.J. Perelman, you can almost hear “the crack of seasoned ash on horsehide, the roar of the hydra-headed crowd” in the winning photo taken by Geneva High School’s Alyssa Mansfield. And how about that “Ball Hawk” mitt — Is that a classic, or what?

Did you know there are only three more opportunities to submit your photos? If you haven’t joined this friendly competition to highlight the arts in Kane County high schools, there is still time to contact Ellen Kamps at the Kane ROE to get involved!
Last week, Regional Superintendent Patricia Dal Santo announced that all students will be recognized at Water Street Studios on Dec. 8 and those featured with the top photos will be awarded with a trophy created by Image Awards and Engraving. More exciting details will be revealed next week, stay tuned.
