See Owls by Moonlight Jan. 13 at Fabyan Forest Preserve

One of the most mysterious yet fascinating nighttime creatures is the owl.

Come to “Owls by Moonlight” on Friday, Jan. 13, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fabyan West Forest Preserve. During this nature program, join district naturalists and staff from the Geneva Public Library for a nighttime hike in search of owls.

Naturalists will tell tales of owls around the world, and you can learn about our local owls, as well.

“We’ll also try to call an owl or two,” the Kane County Forest Preserve District news release says.

All ages are welcome to attend this free nature program. Advance registration is required through the Geneva Public Library. Call 630-232-0893 or visit www.gpld.org to register. You do not have to be a Geneva resident to register.

Fabyan West Forest Preserve is located at 1925 Batavia Ave., Geneva. The group will meet at Shelter No. 1.
