ROE Photo Contest Week 5: ACC Student’s Phantom Sits Atop 10 Amazing Halloween-Season Images
Happy Halloween and welcome to the spooky fifth week of the Kane County ROE’s Student Photography Contest! We thought we should have a bit of fun this week and got 80 submissions from local high school students that were all about Halloween and fall.
The photo contest is at the halfway point, and in five weeks, we have received a total of 467 photos from 12 local high schools! This year is on track to have the most submissions ever. This effort to highlight the arts in schools is successful thanks to the time and coordination of our highly-skilled teachers.
The Regional Office of Education is hard at work behind the scenes planning the photography reception night on Dec. 14 at Water Street Studios in Batavia. Stay tuned over the next several weeks for more exciting news about the reception.
All high school teachers are encouraged to submit their students’ work to Mike Ademe at the Kane County Regional Office of Education. It’s time to prepare yourself for the spooky top 10!
