ROE Photo Contest Week 7: Burlington-Central Student Captures Optical Illusion
Week 7 of the Photo Contest is in the books!
This week we saw 13 local high schools submit 110 photos that showcase a wide range of creativity and various photography techniques. Submissions came from Aurora Central Catholic High School, Aurora Christian, Bartlett High School, Batavia High School, Central High School, Dundee-Crown High School, East Aurora High School, Geneva High School, Kaneland High School, Hampshire High School, St. Edward Central Catholic High School, St. Charles North High School, and West Aurora High School.
Thanks to all of the teachers that help make this contest possible.
The ROE is excited to unveil the full details on the Photography Exhibition, set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec 14. The event will again be held at Water Street Studios in Batavia, with trophies created by Image Awards and presented by Regional Superintendent Patricia Dal Santo.
During the reception, there will be music provided by Batavia High School’s Orchestra, delicious appetizers provided by Batavia High School’s Culinary Arts Class, and lovely matted photography from our students on display.
There are still three weeks left to submit! Please contact Mike Ademe at the Kane County Regional Office of Education if you would like to submit photos or have questions about the Photography Reception. Here are the Top 10 Photos from Week 7!
