ROE Photo Contest Week 8: West Aurora Student Shows ‘How To Create a Picture’
Welcome to Week 8 of the ROE’s Student Photography Contest and happy early Thanksgiving! The ROE is grateful for all of the amazing photography teachers in Kane County for their help with coordinating this effort and to the students for their submitting their creative photography each week. In Week 8, the ROE received 83 submissions from 10 local high schools, bringing the total number of photos submitted this year to 735!
There are still two weeks left in the photo contest. If you are a high school student or teacher who would like to submit photos for Week 9 and 10, please contact Mike Ademe at the Kane County Regional Office of Education.
Remember to mark your calendars for Thursday, Dec. 14, at Water Street Studios for the 2017 Student Photography Exhibition. The event is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with awards, appetizers, live music and great student photography! Please contact the ROE if you have any questions about the event.
