ROE Photo Contest Week 10: Dundee-Crown Student’s Image Materializes Before Your Eyes
Welcome to the final week of the Kane County ROE’s 2017 Student Photography Contest! Congratulations to all of the students who had photos featured throughout the friendly competition, and thank you to everyone that submitted their photos for consideration.
This year the photo contest grew in every way possible, with high schools from all nine Kane County School Districts participating, as well as several local private high schools, for a total of 13 schools. This year saw 333 students submit photos in the contest, with a total amount of 993 photos submitted in the ten-week contest!
This effort to highlight the arts in Kane County couldn’t be possible without the time and coordination of our highly-skilled teachers.
Make sure to join the ROE on for the photography exhibition from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at Water Street Studios in Batavia to honor the photography students and teachers. The top photo from each week will be honored with trophies from Image Awards and given by Regional Superintendent Patricia Dal Santo.
The event will feature music from the Batavia High School Orchestra and delicious appetizers from the Batavia High School Culinary Arts Department. Join us for this celebration of the arts and our talented students in Kane County.
