Ready to Vote? Here’s Where To Find Sample Ballots For March 20 Primary

One of the best ways to find out what races and referendums you personally will be voting on is to check out your sample ballot in advance. Knowing who’s on the ballot and what decisions you’ll be making can help you do a little research and make an informed decision.
Sample ballots for the March 20 primary election have been posted on the Kane County Clerk’s Office election website and the Aurora Election Commission website!
The Aurora Election Commission, of course, serves residents who live within the Aurora city limits. There are three referendums on that ballot.
If you live in Kane County other than within the city limits of Aurora, you’ll be able to see your very own personalized sample ballot online. There are 14 referendums on various ballots throughout the county.
The March primary ballot includes numerous candidates for state, federal government, and countywide elected offices. There are 14 referendums on various Kane County ballots and a referendum in Aurora that will ask voters whether they want to close the Aurora Election Commission.

How Do I Find My Sample Ballot?
Finding your sample ballot in Kane County (non-Aurora residents) is easy.
(1) Go to the www.kanecountyelections.org homepage.
(2) Look where it says “Find …” in large type. Fill in the fields asking your last name, house number and street name, and click the “Submit” button.
The names of all the voters in your household will appear.
(3) Click on Your Name
You will then see a “Sample Ballot” subhead. (See below.) Click on the ballot you are most interested in: Republican, Democratic or Nonpartisan.
