2 Powerhouse Speakers Talk Economic Development at April 13 Jobs Committee
The April 13 Kane County Board Jobs Committee is hosting two great speakers who will be discussing economic development opportunities in the region.
Lisa Reijula, program manager of Metro Chicago Exports, will be giving a presentation about the newly formed Chicago Regional Growth Corporation and how it will strengthen the entire Chicago region.
Harriet Parker, Manager of Illinois SBDC, is reopening the Waubonsee Community College Small Business Development center after its closure in 2016. She will be presenting the services and some of the future programs that will be offered at the SBDC.
The Jobs Committee meeting will begin at 10 a.m., and will be held in the second floor board room at the Kane County Government Center, Building A, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Geneva, Illinois.
