POW! KC Cuddles, And That’s The Way (Uh Huh, Uh Huh) He Likes It
“If there is one spot of sun spilling onto the floor, a cat will find it and soak it up.”

My name is KC. I was originally adopted from Kane County Animal Control more than 10 years ago. Now I’m back at the shelter because my family decided they could no longer give me the attention they thought I needed. Just when I was getting complacent!
As an orange tiger, domestic shorthair, I don’t ask for a lot, just a warm lap with some good petting sessions along the way. My age doesn’t slow me down at all. Eleven years old doesn’t mean I’m over the hill, it just means that I’m wiser than I used to be.
The pep in my step is still there, although I can’t jump as high as I used to, but why would I want to? These young ‘uns, always trying to out-do each other with their “cat-like” super powers! LOL! The fact that I’m front-pawed declawed doesn’t slow me down at all, either. I just choose to live a simpler life and watch the world from some nice person’s lap.
I enjoy the company of other felines, just as long as they aren’t constantly wanting me to join in their silly games, like follow the penlight. Do you know how exhausting that can be? I’ll take cuddling and petting over that any day.
Am I right?
KCAC Updates
Congratulations to Ivan, the older Chihuahua/Min-pin that found his forever home this past week. His new mom was so ecstatic about bringing him home that she shared the entire experience with her day-care kids.
So many cuddles, so little time!
