UPDATE — Referendum Election Results: ‘Yes’ For Huntley Library, ‘No’ To Video Gaming in Campton Hills

Voters on Tuesday said “yes” to library improvements in Huntley and “no’ to video gaming in Campton Hills, in unofficial vote totals.

In super close contests, voters said no to fire district questions in Rutland-Dundee Township and Fox River & Countryside.

Elburn narrowly OK’d a municipal retailers tax, and South Elgin narrowly said “no” to a non-home-rule retailers occupation tax.

Huntley Library

PROPOSITION TO ISSUE $12,900,000 LIBRARY BONDS

Shall bonds of the Huntley Area Public Library District, Kane and McHenry Counties, Illinois in the amount of $12,900,000, be issued for the purpose of remodeling the existing library building and building an addition thereto, and furnishing necessary equipment and acquiring library materials and electronic data storage and retrieval facilities in connection therewith?
