POW! Smoki’s Got Movie-Star Looks, Complete With ‘The Smoulder’

He looks like a film star that just happens to be a … dog!
Smoki
His smoldering good looks would play well with any movie audience as he rushes to save Timmy from the well or guide the bus full of elderly persons to safety away from the tornado.
Our hero’s name is Smoki, and he’s all of 9-months old. An owner surrender, he’s full of energy, vim and vigor. His brown and white coat shimmers in the light as he waits for his next adventure.
Smoki is a mix between a Labrador retriever and a Siberian husky, a 60-pound blend of intelligence, cunning and whimsy. He’s a big, friendly guy whose favorite pastime is playing fetch and getting as much human attention as possible.
In order to keep Smoki’s focus on learning new and exciting commands, it will take dedication on the part of Smoki’s pet parents to give him a daily balance of training, exercise and play.
Smoki gets along with most other dogs, although his canine co-star should not be another male with dominant tendencies. He’s mainly at ease with most smaller or medium female dogs and enjoys playtime with them.
If you’re ready to assume the responsibility of molding Smoki into a fantastic canine, then Smoki is ready to save the day. Hold on, little Timmy!
How to Adopt
All Kane County Animal Control adoptable cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccines, including rabies. They are tested for feline leukemia/FIV and heartworm.
The adoption fee is $200 for dogs and $100 for cats. Adoption of two dogs is $300, and adoption of two cats is $150. The adoption fee for cockatiels is $25.

About Kane County Animal Control
It is the duty of the Animal Control Department to:
Ensure that all domesticated dogs and cats over 4 months of age are vaccinated against rabies and have a Kane County rabies tag.- Ensure that all reported animal bites are given precautionary attention in relation to the possibility rabies infection.
- Ensure that pet owners are instructed on proper procedures pertaining to animal bites and enforce adherence to these procedures.
- Contain loose\stray dogs in unincorporated Kane County and those towns and villages with whom contracted.
- Investigate nuisance dog complaints in unincorporated Kane County and those towns and villages with whom contracted.
