POW! Yuma Is Named After The Sunniest City in The World

He’s a large white and brown domestic shorthair with one of the sweetest personalities this side of the Rio Grande, pardner!
Yuma
His name is Yuma and he is an 8-year-old feline that weighs a very svelte 20 pounds. An owner-surrender along with his sister, Mesa, Yuma is looking for his forever home, where he can get as many hugs, kisses and petting sessions as possible. He’ll take the larger couch for himself, thank you, very much.
Named after the sunniest city in the world, Yuma loves his belly rubbed, enjoys sunning himself and is ready for his close-up, Mr. DeMille.
He’s seems fine with other cats, pretty much stays to himself, but is all about greeting people with a head butt and a “hello.”
You can make this handsome, warm and affectionate young gentleman very happy by giving him his second and, hopefully, final forever home.

Brayden
Congratulations to Brayden, our former resident cool cat and bad boy feline that enjoys being an only cat so he can explore his surroundings.
He finally found the one family that was willing to allow him to spend his days soaking up all the affection and peacefulness he can handle.
Mickey
It was also talkie Mickey’s turn to find his forever home and we’re sure he’s filling them in on all the days he spent at the shelter and “dishing” on all the other cats in the KCAC cat room.
Don’t tell all the secrets, Mickey!
How to Adopt
All Kane County Animal Control adoptable cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccines, including rabies. They are tested for feline leukemia/FIV and heartworm.
The adoption fee is $200 for dogs and $100 for cats. Adoption of two dogs is $300, and adoption of two cats is $150. The adoption fee for cockatiels is $25.

About Kane County Animal Control
It is the duty of the Animal Control Department to:
Ensure that all domesticated dogs and cats over 4 months of age are vaccinated against rabies and have a Kane County rabies tag.- Ensure that all reported animal bites are given precautionary attention in relation to the possibility rabies infection.
- Ensure that pet owners are instructed on proper procedures pertaining to animal bites and enforce adherence to these procedures.
- Contain loose\stray dogs in unincorporated Kane County and those towns and villages with whom contracted.
- Investigate nuisance dog complaints in unincorporated Kane County and those towns and villages with whom contracted.
