Kane County Complete Count Commission Hosts Dec. 11 Census Training Workshop 

Kane County Complete Count Commission is holding a training workshop on Census 2020 for community groups and organizations interested in supporting census-count efforts.

The workshop will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, in the first-floor auditorium in Building A of the Kane County Government Center, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Geneva.

At the workshop, Jenniqual Johnson, a partnership specialist with the U.S. Census Bureau, will present a practical, participant-oriented workshop that looks into decennial operations.

Johnson will provide attendees with information and tools necessary to communicate with their communities the importance and benefits of a complete and accurate count as it pertains to the 2020 Census.

She will explain the new census digital questionnaire and how attendees can assist others in filling out the digital form, explore ways to identify and assist historically undercounted groups in Kane County and provide operational timelines for census-count efforts.
