LaFox Road Bridge replacement over Mill Creek Bridge will reduce LaFox Road to one lane, starting Wednesday, April 30, according to a release from the Kane County Department of Transportation.

Temporary traffic signals will maintain traffic through the construction zone 24-hours a day on LaFox Road between Campton Hills Road and Route 38 for the duration of the project.

North Grand Monde Road will be closed at LaFox Road, while South Grand Monde Road will remain open to traffic.

A reduced speed limit is posted through the construction zone to protect motorists and construction crews. Motorists are advised to expect increased travel times, exercise caution and obey the posted speed limit while traveling through the work zone and watch for equipment entering and exiting on LaFox Road.
