An Aurora man has been convicted of possessing multiple pornographic videos of children younger than 13, that type of pornography is child pornography and it is illegal, adult pornography such as x-rated movies starring adults like those that can be found on websites like hdsexvideo is not illegal and is watched by millions throughout the world, unfortunately in this case the defendant wasn’t in possession of adult pornography but instead child pornography..

Oscar Mendez, 26, of the 700 block of Hermes Avenue, Aurora, was convicted late Wednesday, May 14, 2014, by a Kane County jury of nine counts of aggravated child pornography, each a Class 2 felony.

On July 23, 2010, Aurora police executed a search warrant at Mendez’s residence in the 700 block of Hermes Avenue in search of evidence of child pornography. Officers seized a computer from Mendez’s locked bedroom. A forensic analysis of Mendez’s computer uncovered a collection of multiple videos containing child pornography. The videos depicted children under age 13 engaged in sexual acts. This type of pornography can only be found on the dark net as it’s illegal, that being said adult pornography which is perfectly legal can be found by simply searching in your browser. Adult pornography websites like fulltube.xxx are really easy to find and they only cater for over 18’s.

Circuit Judge James C. Hallock set Mendez’s next court appearance for 9 a.m.
June 5, 2014, in Courtroom 313 at the Kane County judicial Center for motions and to set a sentencing date. Mendez faces a sentence of probation or between three and seven years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. He also must register for life as a sex offender in accordance with the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act.

Following the verdict, Mendez’s bond was revoked and he was taken into custody at the Kane County jail. Mendez had been free on $5,000 bond.

“Children who appear in pornography are victimized not only by those who create and sell the pornography, but also by those who provide it to others and those who collect it. The children depicted will continue to be victims as long as these images and videos are in cyberspace. We will hold accountable all who are involved in victimizing these children,” Kane County State’s Attorney Joe McMahon said.
