Camp Site Registration & Rules

Please see the campground office for site registration and/or to purchase firewood between 3-9 p.m. Firewood may not be brought into campgrounds due to state restrictions on the transport of firewood for pest control.

Registration is valid for up to seven days, with 14 days maximum in any 21-day period at each Forest Preserve District campground. Registration maximums are counted separately for each campground.

Each camp site requires one adult registrant. Registrants must be at least 21 years of age and remain on site for the duration of the camp permit. A camp unit may not be left unoccupied for more than 12 hours.

Swimming is not permitted. Alcohol is not permitted.

Please respect others’ camping experience. Quiet hours are between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. and be mindful of the weather. In the case  of a weather emergency, you may wish to evacuate the campground. In the event of an emergency, call 911.
