Randall Road Traffic Signal Repairs Saturday in Elgin — Weather Permitting

Randall Road and Hopps Signal Work

Showers and thunderstorms are likely Saturday, according to the National Weather Service report for Kane County, IL, (that’s good old latitude 41.95 degrees north, longitude 88.43 degrees west and elevation 889 feet for those keeping track at home), but if the weather is permitting, you should be aware of traffic signal repairs on Randall Road.

Traffic signal repairs at the Randall Road and Hopps Road intersection (located within the city of Elgin) will occur Saturday, June 7, 2014, weather permitting. This work will involve the installation of new detector loops in the pavement and require the closure of the Randall Road southbound left-turn lanes and the Hopps Road eastbound left turn lanes between the hours of 7 a.m. and noon, according to the Kane County Division of Transportation.

The county asks that you pay attention to all temporary traffic control signing and watch for equipment and workers entering and leaving the work zone.
