There’s plenty of fun on the summer schedule in Carpentersville this year. Here are some of the 2014 events:

Carpentersville Hosts Rock the Fox Music Festival, June 27-29

Rock the Fox Music Festival and Carnival will be held at Carpenter Park the weekend of June 27-29.

Sponsored by the Carpentersville Odd Fellows Century Lodge 3492, this event will feature rock, country ,jazz and blues music with event coverage and support by radio station 103.9, “The Fox.”

The event will also feature carnival rides and amusements, food vendors and a beer garden.

• When: 5 p.m. to 11 pm. Friday, June 27, 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 28, and 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 29.
• Where: Carpenter Park

Dundee Township Park District Annual Fireworks Display

• When: Saturday, June 28.  Fireworks begin at dusk. Rain date is June 29.
• Where: Meadowdale Park, Besinger Drive.

Cruise Nights/Car Shows at Spring Hill Marketplace

• What: Cruise nights/car shows
• When: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Friday at Spring Hill Marketplace, 212 Western, Carpentersville. The event is free, there’s a live disc jockey and all makes and models are welcome.
