If you’ve been paying attention to the supervisor of assessments’ newsletter (subscribe here) or Kane County Connects, you probably already are aware that assessment changes are being rolled out for various townships in Kane County in the usual way via publication in area newspapers.

The latest is the 2014 assessment changes for Virgil Township, which are being published Thursday, July 3, 2014, in the Elburn Herald.

Just as a reminder, on the date of publication for any township assessment changes in Kane County, you can always find an online copy of the assessments at this link on the Kane County Supervisor of Assessments webpage.

After all revisions and corrections by the Township Assessor are applied, an equalization factor  is calculated for each township. Each non-farm property in Virgil Township was equalized with a factor of 1.0000.

To obtain assessment information about a property in any of these townships, please call the Township Assessor’s Office or visit the Township Assessor’s website (directory here).
