The Pavement Preservation Rejuvenation program, which involves the application of surface treatments to prolong the life of the road, will begin on Keslinger Road from IL Route 47 to West County Line Road the week of July 7, 2014, and be completed by July 14, 2014, weather permitting.

Keslinger Road will remain open during treatment and may be reduced to one lane travel using temporary daily lane closures.

“Please watch for flaggers and reduce speed while traveling through the construction zone,” the Kane County Division of Transportation said in a press release.

Motorists should expect delays, increased travel times, and are advised to consider alternate routes during this work.
