ABC 7’s ‘190 North’ Will Feature Blackberry Farm Aug. 24
Blackberry Farm will be featured on network TV as part of ABC 7’s 190 North broadcast at 11 p.m. on Aug. 24.
The segment will spotlight many of Blackberry Farm’s unique attractions, its history and pioneer origins, and the popular events and activities hosted at Blackberry.
Veteran TV reporter and on-air personality Janet Davies will host the special and provide a televised tour of Blackberry Farm, with interviews and first-person accounts.
190 North showcases the “hippest, trendiest lifestyles and entertainment stories around.” In its 15th year, the award-winning broadcast is the longest running show of its type in Chicago television history. Due to budgetary constraints, the weekly show last year was reduced to quarterly airings for 2014.
Along with the feature on Blackberry Farm, the Aug. 24 episode will include segments on several popular outdoor dining destinations in Chicago, one on Xtreme Xperience (an exotic car business that offers customers chance to drive couple laps at racetrack), the popularity of Pickleball and a piece on the downtown Polish restaurant, Jolly Inn.
