The Rotary Club of Carpentersville-Morning is hosting its 2nd annual RaceWay 5K on Aug. 16 at the historical former Meadowdale International RaceWays in RaceWay Woods in Carpentersville.

“Gather your friends, colleagues, family members and random strangers and prepare to run or walk through the historic racetrack and experience all the curves, straight-aways, embankments and hills this race has to offer!” the Rotary says on its race website.

Online registration is open through 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014.
