Kane County Moments: Coyote Pup Caught Briefly in the Crowds of Downtown Elgin

Longtime journalist and photographer Ted Schnell was shooting photos of the Supermoon on Sunday, Aug. 10, in Elgin, when he almost literally stumbled across a small coyote in the downtown area near the promenade.

Schnell captured these photos, along with a very interesting tale and some background on coyotes and their habits.
