‘Elburn CoOp’

The morning July 2 in Kane County was unusual in that the air was not summer­heavy and breath­warm. A storm front from the north left us cool, fresh, and clean in its wake as the sun broke the horizon.

I resisted the temptation to leave this image in color with vibrant wet greens and stone blue sky. The silver buildings and low hanging clouds against those cooler background colors asked to be presented in black and white.

This is the Elburn Co­Op on Meredith Road.
