The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (ISTHA) has announced the Tyrrell Road Bridge over I-90 replacement/reconstruction work is scheduled to begin the week of Aug. 4, 2014 and expected to continue through November 20, 2014, weather permitting.

Tyrrell Road will be reduced to a single lane over I-90 by temporary traffic signal control. The detour of the project will affect several roads in the village of Gilberts area within Kane County. The detour route will be clearly posted with the appropriate signage.
