Believe it or not, back-to-school season is here.

In fact, school starts Wednesday, Aug. 13, for School District 300, which has a new office location this year, at 1600 Big Timber Road, Hampshire, 60140. Its new mailing address is  2605 Bunker Hill Drive, Algonquin, IL 60102. Click on the link below for more information.

Kindergarten through 12th-grade students in School District U-46 start Aug. 18. And PreK-12 students in East Aurora School District 131 start Aug. 25.

For most of the rest of Kane County public schools, the first day is Wednesday, Aug. 20.

The first day of the fall semester for Waubonsee Community College is Aug. 25. The fall semester for Elgin Community College begins Aug. 18.
