Ask Mr./Ms. Kane County Person: When Can I Get an Absentee Ballot?
It’s time once again for Ask Mr./Ms. Kane County Person, the series that blatantly rips off the official Dave Barry grammar column that gets most of its laughs through malapropriatizing big words, only without one-bazillionth of the humor value contained therein.
Our question this week comes from alert reader George Mercer of St. Charles, IL, who asks, regarding the Nov. 4, 2014, General Election:
That is an excellent question and one we could not answer. So we deftly forwarded it to Suzanne Fahnestock, director of elections, Office of John A. Cunningham, Kane County Clerk, who responded thusly:
Good Morning, Mr. Mercer,
The absentee ballot will become available for the Kane County voters on September 25, 2014. You may call our phone number at (630)232-5990) or visit our website at http://www.kanecountyelections.org/Absentee/KANE%20COUNTY%20APPLICATION%20FOR%20BALLOT.pdf, to complete and submit a request for an absentee ballot.
Thank you,
Suzanne Fahnestock
