Roadway construction on Dean Street between Peck Road and Bittersweet Road, on Harter Road between IL Route 47 and Scott Road, and on Prairie Street between Dugan Road and Sugar Grove Village Line will begin on Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, weather permitting, and is expected to last a total of approximately one month.

On Dean Street and Harter Road, the work includes asphalt removal, cold-in-place asphalt recycling, resurfacing, and placing of shoulder stone. On Prairie Street, the work includes cold-in-place asphalt recycling, cape sealing and placing of shoulder stone.

Construction will be completed one location at a time and will require temporary lane closures with flaggers directing traffic each day for the duration of the project. Motorists are advised to exercise caution while traveling through the work zone, watch for equipment entering and exiting each location, and expect increased travel times.
