Temporary Lane Closures Start Monday (Sept. 29) for Fabyan, Dauberman and Perry

2014 Resurfacing 2 9-24-14

Three well-traveled Kane County roads — Fabyan Parkway, Dauberman Road and Perry Road — are next up for pavement patching, the Kane County Division of Transportation reports.

Work is scheduled to start the week of Sept. 29, 2014, through the week of Oct.  20, 2014, weather permitting. Improvements will include the removal and replacement of 1 ½” of distressed pavement surface in various areas of the roadway.

The following locations are scheduled for patching:

  •  Fabyan Parkway – 200’ west of Illinois Route 31 to 550’ west of Illinois Route 31
  •  Dauberman Road – 250’ north of Main Street to 400’ north of Main Street
  •  Perry Road – 2,600’ east of Miner Road to 3,400’ east of Miner Road

While all roadways will remain open during the construction, temporary daily lane closures will be required to allow crews safe access to the work areas. The public is advised to pay attention to new traffic patterns, exercise caution and allow additional travel times while driving through these areas.
