Will Carpentersville’s water tower be named best in the U.S.?

Well, we’ll find out today. As of Friday, Carpentersville was in the running for a national water tower contest — it was in the top five in the U.S. Friday.

In fact, it was third in the voting at 5 p.m. Friday, trailing the water towers of Lebanon, MO, and Normal, IL.

I voted for Carpentersville, and it was easy.
