Kane County Flies 2015 Holiday Schedule Up the Flagpole

Kane County Flies 2015 Holiday Schedule Up the Flagpole

The Kane County Executive Committee on Tuesday released a draft of its 2015 holiday schedule, which will go on the consent agenda for the full County Board meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 14.

Basically, this is the schedule of holidays when county offices, including the courts, are closed. The 2015 schedule doesn’t carry any big surprises, since it’s basically the same as the 2014 Holiday Schedule, but we’re mentioning it here so that you’ll know where to find it if you have any questions. The holiday schedule is posted on the Kane County website pages of the Recorder’s Office and the 16th Judicial Circuit.

The next holiday coming up is Columbus Day, Oct. 13, when schools are closed, as well. For the balance of 2014, we’ve got the following:

  • Columbus Day (Observed): Monday, Oct. 13, 2014
  • Veteran’s Day: Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014
  • Thanksgiving Day: Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014
  • Day Following Thanksgiving Day: Friday, Nov. 28, 2014
  • Christmas Day: Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014
  • Day Following Christmas Day: Friday, Dec. 26, 2014
