The Kane County Division of Transportation is giving motorists a little heads up because LaFox Road will be closed for about 10 hours on Wednesday.

LaFox Road will be closed to traffic at the Union Pacific Railroad crossing from 5 a.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, as UP completes some repairs to the LaFox Road railroad crossing located north of Keslinger Road. During the road closure, traffic can follow the posted detour route using IL Route 38, IL Route 47 and Keslinger Road. (See the map above.)
