OK, it’s flu season. We know there’s a bug going around, and we know we ought to get a flu shot.

Where do we start?

The Kane County Health Department suggests, first off, that you simply start with your personal physician or health-car provider. Many health insurance policies cover flu vaccinations.

There are also federally qualified Health Centers, listed below.

Many pharmacies in the area offer flu shots. They are available at such places as Walgreens, Osco, CVS and Dominick’s Pharmacy. Contact your local pharmacy for times and costs.
