The Zonta Club of St. Charles-Geneva-Batavia is hosting its annual fundraiser, ‘Strike A Pose’ for Women bowling event at 1 p.m.  Sunday Nov. 2, at Wheaton Bowl.

The Zonta Club is a local, volunteer service organization dedicated to empowering women locally and globally. Fundraising proceeds directly benefit scholarships for local women and girls; grants for local service agencies working to eradicate domestic violence and advance the status of women; and international programs that help empower and protect women who are seeking literacy, proper education, have HIV, are injured by complications from substandard care during childbirth, are victims of gender-based violence and human trafficking.
