The Elburn Lions Club is hosting a Toy Drive to benefit local children this holiday season.

Donation boxes are located at businesses in Elburn and Maple Park. The Lions Club will be accepting monetary donations so Lions Club volunteers can shop the week before Christmas. If you would like to mail in a donation, please send checks to Elburn Lions Club, Attn: Toy Drive, 500 Filmore St., Elburn, IL 60119.

All toys items will be donated to Hope Haven or Safe Passage in DeKalb. The Lions are also seeking wrapping paper donations.

Toys must be new and in original packaging. No stuffed toys or anything violent.
