UPDATE: Kramer Is New Sheriff, Batavia Referendum Falls — And More Election Results for Kane County
- Editor’s note: This article was updated to reflect additional information about the Gail Borden Library District referendum.
In the best of all possible worlds, Kane County Connects would have published a live blog on election night, offering up-to-the minute results, insights, interviews and high-tech graphics to give you a picture of how events played out in real time.
But since it’s just me, we’ll leave the reporting of the statewide, U.S. Senate and congressional results to the pundits. Ditto for the statewide referendums and the uncontested local races.
Presented here are the results from Kane County contested races and some of the local referendums on the Nov. 4 ballot. If you have questions, email ricknagel23@gmail.com. With luck, we’ll follow up tomorrow on “How Kane County Voted” in the state and national elections.
You can find all of that information in the Kane County Clerk’s Office election results webpages and the Aurora Election Commission election results pages.
Winners or top vote getters are indicated in red type.
