Kane County is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the balance of this week, and the forecast includes a mix of snow, freezing rain and below-zero wind chills.

Light snow is expected to develop toward Wednesday morning, mainly north of I-88, resulting is hazardous travel conditions.

Looking ahead, light freezing rain or possibly some sleet could result in hazardous travel Friday night into Saturday morning.

Negative wind chills are in the forecast for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
