1-Day Flu Shot Clinic Provides Best Holiday Gift of All: Health

With flu activity on the increase in Kane County, the Kane County Health Department will be holding a one-day flu shot clinic for adults from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the Health Department’s Aurora office, 1240 N. Highland Ave.

Depending on the popularity of this clinic, the Health Department may be conducting additional clinics in the future, so please stay tuned!

National Influenza Vaccination Week runs Dec. 7 through Dec. 13. Use this week to plan to get your flu shot. It’s the single-best thing you can do to protect against the flu.

And always, cover your cough, wash your hands frequently and stay home when you’re sick. Remember: It’s never too late to get a flu shot, and think what a great holiday gift you can give yourself and your family: Your health!
