Mary Clark Ormand of the Aurora Historical Society is reminding Kane County residents that there are still four days left to see the 1857 Tanner House Museum holiday open house.

The Historical Society is hosting the holiday open houses on Fridays and Sundays for the balance of 2014.

“We are very pleased that this year a generous — and anonymous — donor has underwritten the open houses at the 1857 Tanner House Museum.  There are still a few chances left to enjoy this holiday tradition.”

Remaining open houses are from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays, Dec.19 and Dec. 26, and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays, Dec. 21 and Dec. 28.
