Kane County Hospital Honored as Top Workplace

Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora has been selected as one of The Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplaces.

According to a Rush-Copley press release, the Top Workplaces designation is based solely on employee feedback. The employee survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.

Employers were categorized as large, mid-size or small companies. Rush-Copley ranked third overall in the large employer category, moving up one notch from the hospital’s fourth-place ranking in 2013.

“Rush-Copley offers a warm and friendly work environment, with co-workers who collaborate as a strong, professional team,” the press release says.

As the employer in the greater Fox Valley area, Rush-Copley offers many benefits to employees including free membership to an onsite fitness center, a 401K plan with an employer annual contribution and employee match, tuition reimbursement, disease management assistance, adoption assistance and many other work-life amenities.

“This recognition is representative of the type of work environment we strive to provide to employees,” said Barry C. Finn, president and CEO of Rush-Copley.  “Rush-Copley is committed to hiring the best people and nurturing our employees with opportunity, reward and recognition.”
