For more than 10 years, the monthly Kane County Electronics Recycling Event has been on the second Saturday of the month; and that has not changed.

Please disregard the misprint in the paper copy of the 2014-15 Kane County Recycles Green Guide on page 4 that incorrectly lists the event dates for February and March. The online and below information list the correct dates.

Upcoming events for 2015 will be on the following Saturday dates:

• Jan. 10
• Feb. 14
• March 14
• April 11
• May 9
• June 13
• July 11
• Aug. 8
• Sept. 12
• Oct. 10
• Nov. 14
• Dec. 12

Event hours are 8 a.m. to noon at 540 S. Randall Road in St. Charles.

These events are for Kane County residents only.

Electronics and Books can be recycled at every monthly event. The quarterly events also include free confidential document shredding and latex paint recycling. Those events dates are: March 14, June 13, Sept. 12, Dec. 12. Event hours and location are as above.

The June 13 event will be the Annual Recycling Extravaganza, for recycling electronics, books, documents, latex paint, clothes, shoes, bikes, mobility devices, and more.
