Objections Filed to Candidate Petitions for Fox River Fire District and Gail Borden Library District
The Kane County Clerk, John A. Cunningham, has called on the Kane County Electoral Board to meet on Jan. 12, 2015, to hear objections that were filed for the Fox River & Countryside Fire & Rescue District and the Gail Borden Public Library district.
The Electoral Board is set to meet Monday at the times listed, in the Kane County Clerk’s Office Conference Room, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Building B, Geneva, to hear testimony regarding the objections which have been filed to the Certification of Nominating Petition of:
10 a.m. — Scott Coryell (Candidate for the Fox River & Countryside Fire & Rescue District); Objector, Robert Handley.
10:15 a.m. — Carlos R. Chavez (Candidate for Gail Borden Public Library District); Objector, Randolph Lee Hopp.
10:30 a.m. — Tiffany L. Henderson (Candidate for Gail Borden Public Library District); Objector, Randolph Lee Hopp.
10:45 a.m. — Bonifacio G. Mondragon (Candidate for Gail Borden Public Library District); Objector, Randolph Lee Hopp.
11 a.m. — Jean Bednar (Candidate for Gail Borden Public Library District); Objector, Randolph Lee Hopp.
11:15 a.m. — Herbert Gross (Candidate for Gail Borden Public Library District); Objector, Randolph Lee Hopp.
In accordance with the Illinois election law, the Kane County Electoral Board will reconvene at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 12, 2015, to officially vote and sign on decisions regarding objections to school board ballot petitions that will be heard on Jan. 7, 2015.
The board will reconvene at 10 a.m. Jan. 15, 2015, to officially vote and sign on the decisions from the objections that will be heard on Jan. 12, 2015.
These hearings will be held in accordance with the provisions of the Illinois Open Meetings Act.
The Electoral Board consists of the following (or their designees):

- Thomas M. Hartwell, Circuit Clerk
