Recycle Books, Electronics, Christmas Lights FREE on Saturday

Kane County residency has its privileges.

The Kane County Recycles event from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at 540 S. Randall Road in St. Charles is a free event for Kane County residents only.

Recycle ELECTRONICS, including Christmas lights, computers, keyboards, laptops, printers, televisions (any size or age), stereos, cell phones, microwaves, and more. Volunteers unload for you! A complete list of accepted items, and more information can be found on the Kane County Recycles webpage under “Electronics Recycling.”

Kane County also receives BOOKS of any age and condition for reuse or recycling.

We are only accepting electronics and books at this month’s event. The next document shredding event will be 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 14, at the same location. More information online at web address above, under Document Shredding.”

We do not accept hazardous waste or large household appliances like washers and refrigerators.
