Suzanne Marie Byrum, 77, of Geneva died Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at Delnor Hospital in Geneva.

She was born July 23, 1937, in Peoria, IL, to Eric and Amanda Zanders.

For more than 45 years, she was employed by the Kane County States Attorney’s Office.

Mrs. Byrum is survived by three children, Jeff (Linda) of North Aurora, Michael of Geneva and Cynthia Mason of St. Charles, two grandchildren, Amanda and Alexandra, two nephews and four great-nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Marlowe Lunacek, and a son-in-law, Mark J. Mason.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 10, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1145 North 5th Ave. (Route 25), St. Charles. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 West State St. (Route 38), Geneva.
