Valentine’s Day Recyclying Event — Electronics and Books
Share a little love with Planet Earth on Valentine’s Day by recycling to your heart’s content, from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 14, at 540 S. Randall in St. Charles. This free event is for Kane County residents only.
Recycle ELECTRONICS such as Christmas lights, computers, keyboards, laptops, printers, televisions (any size or age), stereos, cell phones, microwaves, and more. We unload for you! A complete list of accepted items can be found online at the address below.
And BOOKS of any age and condition for reuse or recycling. Electronics and books are the only objects of desire at this month’s event.
The next event is from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 14, at the same location. At that event, Kane County will be offering free DOCUMENT shredding and will be recycling liquid LATEX PAINT. A $3.50-per-gallon-can fee applies.
Hazardous waste or large household appliances like washers and refrigerators are not accepted.
