The Kane County Regional Office of Education held more than 30 events during Institute Day 2015 at high schools, public libraries, community colleges, nonprofit headquarters and government buildings from Aurora to Hampshire, hosting learning opportunities for the professionals in Kane County who value education most — its teachers and administrators.

Kane County ROE Superintendent Patricia Dal Santo said the programs — from IMSA’s Close Encounters of the STEM Kind to TriCity Family ServicesPreventing and Managing Anxiety in a School Setting — were well attended and well received.

“On behalf of the Regional Office of Education, I would like to thank all the presenters, participants, districts and educational partners that made #InstituteDay 2015 so successful,” she said.

The following is a slide show that gives just a little taste of the activities that took place Friday.

For Kane County educators still looking for opportunities to earn Continuing Professional Development Units, the Kane County Regional Office of Education’s professional development division hosts a variety of workshops, seminars, and administrator academies year-round.
