Tuesday, March 10, Is Last Chance to Register for April 7 Election

Kane County Clerk John A. Cunningham is reminding Kane County residents that the last day to register to vote for the April 7, 2015 Consolidated Election is Tuesday, March 10, 2015.

This Consolidated Election will involve all of Kane County. The County Clerk’s Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In addition, most libraries, municipal, and township offices in Kane County do accept registrations.

Grace Period Registration

Grace Period Registration for the Consolidated Election will be available in the Kane County Clerk’s Office only from Wednesday, March 11, 2015 until Saturday, April 4, 2015. Once registered, grace-period voters will cast their ballots during grace period for the Consolidated Election. Two forms of current identification are required.

Early Voting

Early Voting for the Consolidated Election will begin on Monday, March 23, 2015, through Saturday, April 4, 2015. See the Kane County Clerk’s website for details.

Regular voter registration will resume on Thursday, April 8, 2015.

The Kane County Clerk’s Voter Registration Office is located in Building B at the Kane County Government Center, 719 South Batavia Avenue (Route 31), Geneva.

To register, a person must be a United States citizen, 18 years old on or before the date of the next election, a resident of the precinct for 30 days prior to the election, and provide two forms of identification, one of which shows a current name and address.
